he was the sweetest thing in the world!!!! the 1st day i met him was June 1st (his bday! PERFECT DAY!!) I HAD 2 ASK 6 PEOPLE B4 I FINALLY GOT 2 HIM! THANKS 2 JOEL!!!! JOEL, IF UR READING THIS THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH! I LOVE YOU!! ANYWAY HERES THE WHOLE LONG STORY. I WAS HOLDING THE PRESENT THE WHOLE TIME ALONG WITH MY PURSE AND EVERY CHANCE I GOT I ASKED SOMEONE IF THEY COULD HAVE DAMIEN COME OVER SO I COULD GIVE HIM HIS PRESENT SINCE IT WAS HIS BDAY. THE 1ST 2 TIMES THEY JUST KINDA IGNORED ME. THEN AFTER THEY TAPED THE FIRST SHOW I ASKED THESE 2 CAMERA MEN AND THEY WERE REALLY NICE. THEY KEPT LOOKING AROUND TO SEE WHERE HE COULD BE. THEN I ASKED VANESSA AND SHE SAID SHE COULD GIVE IT TO HIM IF I WANTED HER TO BUT I SAID NO CAUSE I WANTED TO SEE HIM MYSELF. SO THEN I SAW QUDDUS AND ALL HE SAID WAS 'SUP LADIES' AND HE LEFT. I WAS LIKE OK...HAHAH ANYWAYS THEN FINALLY FINALLY! I SAW JOEL (CUE CARD GUY & FRIEND OF D) AND I YELLED FOR HIM TO COME OVER AND HE HAD THIS SURPRISED LOOK ON HIS FACE AND HE SAID 'HOW DO YOU KNOW ME?' ANS I SAID 'I KNOW YOUR FRIENDS WITH DAMIEN AND I SAW YOU GUYS ON CRAIG KILBORN' AND HE SAID 'AW NO' HAHA IT WAS FUNNY. THEN I ASKED HIM IF THERE WAS ANYWAY DAMIEN COULD COME OVER SO I COULD GIVE HIM HIS PRESENT AND MEET HIM AND JOEL JUST SAID 'YEAH SURE HOLD ON'. I WAS FREAKING OUT!! I GOT SO EXCITED! SO I SAW JOEL GO BACK TO WHERE THE RV/TRAILER WAS AND I SAW D STANDING THERE EATING A SANDWICH AND JOEL WAS TELLING HIM THEN DAMIEN WENT INTO THE TRAILER AND JOEL CAME BACK AND SAID 'JUST 1 MINUTE'. SO I GOT MY CAMERA OUT AND TRIED TO CALM MYSELF. THEN THE WORST THING THAT COULD POSSIBLY HAPPEN HAPPENED! WE WERE ALL WAITING IN THIS LINE TO GET INTO THE NEXT SHOW BUT EVERYONE WAS CRAMMING IN AND THEY AID WE HAD TO BE IN A SINGLE FILE LINE BEFORE THEY LET US IN SO WE GOT SHOVED TO THE END OF THE LINE. SO I STARTED PANICKING. SO I KEPT LOOKING FOR THEM TO SEE IF THEY CAME OUT OF THE TRAILER. THEN THEY FINALLY LET US INTO THE SHOW AND I SAW JOEL AND DAMIEN UP ON THE STAGE AND I TRIED TO WAVE AT JOEL TO SEE IF HE WOULD NOTICE. AND HE DID!!! HE WAVED FOR ME TO COME OVER THERE. I WAS SO EXCITED! AND IT WAS REALLY COOL SINCE THEY WERE DOING THE BATTLE OF THE SEXES THEY SEPARATED THE GIRLS AND THE GUYS SO NO ONE WAS ON THE SIDE I WENT TO CAUSE THEY DIDNT LET THE GUYS IN YET. SO I WENT OVER THERE AND THEY BOTH CAME DOWN. DAMIEN SAID 'HI' AND HUGGED ME! I WAS SO HAPPY!! AND I SAID 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY' AND HE SAID 'THANK YOU. I UNDERSTAND YOU SAW US ON KILBORN' THEN HE PUT HIS ARM AROUND ME TO POSE TO TAKE THE PIC. (**ONCE AGAIN, JOEL, IF YOUR READING THIS, THANKS FOR TAKING THE PIC! YOU ROCK!**) I WAS WITH MY SIS SO HE JUST HUGGED HER AND TOOK A PIC WITH HER TOO. THEN HE STARTED TALKING TO ME AND ASKED ME MY NAME AND IF I LIVED THERE AND STUFF. AND IT WAS SO COOL CAUSE I THINK HE THOUGHT I WAS IN COLLEGE CAUSE HE SAID 'WHAT ARE YOU STUDYING?' AND I WAS THINKING 'WHAT IS HE TALKING ABOUT?' THEN IT CLICKED. SO I SAID 'IM STILL IN HIGH SCHOOL' AND HE SAID 'OOH IM SORRY. ITS BEEN SO LONG I CANT REMEMBER.' IT WAS CUTE. HE IS SERIOUSLY THE NICEST PERSON. WE PROBABLY TALKED FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES OR SO. THEN BEFORE HE LEFT I ASKED HIM IF I COULD HAVE ANOTHER HUG. HEHE. AND OF COURSE HE SAID SURE. I ALSO ASKED HIM IF HE REMEMBERED ME CAUSE I SENT HIM THE PIN HE PICKED TO WEAR WHEN HE HAD THE CONTEST AND HE SAID HE DID. AND BEFORE HE LEFT HE WAS SOOOO SWEET! HE SAID 'THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS I REALLY APPRECIATE IT. THANK YOU' IT WAS THE BEST DAY EVER!!


the 2nd day: June 4th
it was at the end of the show when Cassidy was performing his second song. everyone was dancing. so i went behind the trailer they have cause no one is there obviously cause the last shot of that show, all 3 of them (Damien, LaLa & Quddus) were on top on the trailer so i got a good view of them from the back. anyway when Cassidy performed they went down to where people were on the side of the stage and started dancing with them. then when the show was over i saw Damien talking to someone who works for MTV and he was about to go to the hut thing they have and i yelled for him and he waved and he was about to walk over but then the dude told him something and he went into the trailer. then when he came out i yelled for him again and this time he did come over. i was so excited!!! as he was walking over he said 'hey how are you' i said 'im good how are you' and he said 'im great' then i said 'do you remember me?' and i got sooo happy wen he said what he said. he said 'of course. my biggest fan' then he hugged me! it was so amazing! my sis was with me then she told him that im the one who made the site about him. and i asked him if he actually wrote in my guest book or someone just made it up. and he said 'hmmm...i might have' i guess he didnt remember cause the entry was from april 2003. then i told him that when i made my site i got help from his aunt cause she knew about it. and then he was like 'oooh yeah i know that one. its a great site. good work on it.' i was soooooo happy when he said that. den my sis asked if she could get a pic with him then i asked too and he said sure of course. man he is such a sweety!! then before he left he said 'thanks for coming out again you guys' n then we said bye sadly. and earlier that day i saw Joel again and i asked him if he remembered me and he said he did so i just thanked him for finding Damien for me that day so i could give him the present and he was like 'oh yeah sure its no problem' he's really sweet too.
